Crochet Supplies:

• US H / 5 mm crochet hook
• Hobby Lobby I Love This I Love This Cotton, weight (4) worsted, 100% cotton, 180 yds / 165 m, 3.5 oz / 100 g per skein. Approx 60 yards per cloth.

15 sts x 17 rows = 4” (10 cm) in stitch pattern

• hdc: half double crochet
• rep: repeat

Free Crochet Pattern: Let It Slide Dishcloth

Dishcloth:

Row 1: Fsc 30, (or Ch 31, sc in 2^nd ch and across.) (30 sts)

Row 2: Ch 1, turn, *sl st in first st, hdc in next st; rep from * across.

Rows 3 – 30: Rep Row 2: 25 more times.

Row 31: Ch 1, turn, sc across.

Edge:

You will work a single crochet border around the entire edge. The important thing is that your edging lays flat. You will not work into the end of every row on each side. Remember, the row ends will alternate between a hdc and a sl st.

Ch 1, turn to work down side of rows, sc in same st as last sc, sc in hdc row end, sk sl st row end, *sc in next 3 row ends (this is a hdc, sl st, hdc), sk 1 row end; rep from * across, placing last sc in the end of last row (23 sts),

ch 1, turn, sc across (30 sts),

ch 1, turn to work across next side, sc in same st as last sc, *sk 1 row end, sc in next 3 row ends (this is a hdc, sl st, hdc) to last 2 rows, sk 1, sc in last row (23 sts),

1, turn, sc across (30 sts)

If no loop: sl st in beginning ch-1 sp to join.

If working loop: ch 10, sl st in beginning ch-1 sp, turn, sc 20 in ch-10 sp. Sl st to last st of edging.

Fasten off.

Weave in ends.
