About the Garland Berry Crochet Cowl
If like me, you love warm, comfy accessories, you’ll enjoy wearing (and making) the Garland Berry Cowl. I designed this free cowl crochet pattern as a modern triangle neck warmer that also keeps the chill off your chest.
The crochet scarf has a nice texture and beautiful edging, with a seamless design that keeps it looking neat. The crochet cowl is designed for women, and one size will fit most.
Worked in worsted weight 4 yarn, this crochet cowl is a warm, comfy, and a simple accessory that you’ll actually reach for on chilly days.
How to crochet Modern Cowl
You can make the Garland Berry Cowl yourself by following my free intermediate crochet pattern. You’ll need about 180–200 yards of worsted weight 4 yarn and a 5.5 mm (US size 9) crochet hook, or whichever hook matches your gauge.
The neck warmer has a seamless construction, and the free pattern is simple to follow with clear instructions on how to work the front and back post stitches that give it its textured look. There’s also a detailed edging that finishes it neatly.
