Fasten off leaving a long tail to sew the base to the bottom of the tree.
Stack tiers with Tier 1 (largest) on the bottom and Tier 3 (smallest) on the top.
Using a tapestry needle and a 4” piece of yarn, create a loop for hanging by inserting the needle from the inside of the tree, through the top to the outside, and back through the top to the inside. Tie the ends on the inside of the tree and pull the loop up so the knot is at the top of the opening.
Add a small amount of fiber fill to the inside of the tree and position the base in the opening.
Using the tapestry needle and the tail of the base, secure the outside edges of the base to the tree.
